Since 2007, we have continuously achieved first place in the category “Franconia’s most beautiful beer garden” at the Franconia Gastronomy Award.
We cordially invite you to stay in our cozy Franconian beer and wine garden under old chestnut trees. In the summer months, our barbecue evening takes place here every Friday evening. Let us treat you with meat and fish specialities from our charcoal grill!
We call our garden “Biergarten”, because it reminds of a typical “beer garden” and of course we offer a large selection of local beers. We can especially recommend our own Franziskaner brewmaster’s drink.
But since we are in Wein-Franken (Wine-Franconia), it was only natural for us to also call our beautiful garden “Weingarten”. We can’t think of a better place to enjoy a glass of our excellent Dettelbach wines than under the spreading chestnut trees.
Whether you have had a strenuous day of conferences or an adventurous exploration tour of the surrounding area, our beer and wine garden offers you a great place to end the day in the fresh air – or even to start it with breakfast.
P.S. In winter, our garden is transformed into the “Frankziskaner Hüttendorf” and invites you to enjoy a mulled wine with a Christmas market atmosphere!
